Done yet?

Someone once tried to tell me that I was "impat..." I didn't hear the rest, as I had to get going.

I can't wait to see the finished product. I'll definitely be in line to buy one. Since removing the spare, the hump has bugged me to death.

Update 6/20/04

I just finished working on my cardboard prototype, and am very please with the results. It looks like this will fit so tight, and because I have it behind the trunk spring there will be no mounting points necessary. However, I will put holes so you can use two of the three fasteners that you use with the spare tire cover, just to make sure it stays in place. You will notice I tried to extend the side to cover the corners better. I'm thinking of making this out of masonite. I have some new fabric ordered to try and match the trunk even better. I'll keep you posted. Now what you've all been waiting for:

Looks great Jim. A good material for this would be thin MDF.
(back it with duct tape for extra strength, and then carpet it. This will be a very strong, thin, and most importantly, lightweight solution! Looks great tho. I am 90% finished with my new setup as well, I tried some unorthodox things, so stay tuned!
