To early to tell. Currently I only have a cardboard prototype. I will know better this week end. I don't think it will support amps, however, the crossovers should not be a problem.

Yes, this will work with my current amp rack.

oh

i misunderstood what it was by the title. i didn't read the word "cover" in the subject, so i thought it was an amp rack if there is a way to mount an amp on there (the 500/5 i got from you), that would be awesome. if not, i still do want it...i think it makes the trunk look cleaner, and have more room (even though i'll probably never need it).

edited, 'cause my original post didn't make sense.

The problem with the half piece is there is a curve in the back of the other piece, and you end up with a big gap.
So I take it you are not going to try to mold something to match the curve? Making it match OEM more closely would be very cool.

Jim, this looks great... still following it, even if silently.

let me know how the fans go. i think i've found some temp sensing/speed increasing fans for a very reasonable price...

also, now that i've picked up my wheels, i hope to have more options for a bigger sub.... which means a different amp rack... i'll have to decide in the coming months...

Update 7/19/04

I spent sometime this weekend working on this. I've been able to change the template in the corners to cover more. I will take a picture and post as soon as I get my new camera. The fans I ordered were a little to deep so I ordered another set. Hopefully the fans will be in before I head down to the South East Super Meet. If they do arrive I will try and install and update this thread.
