Default Flip out DVD

I was just wondering if you could put a in dash DVD player in replace of the stock s2000 CD player. Mainly wondering if when the monitor comes out and flips up, if it will make the clearance of the dash board..????

does anybody know?

thanks justin.

Have you asked the question in the Electronics forum? You're more likely to get a quick response (although I suspect it will be "no").

No it will NOT fit. Not even close. You need to become part of the dash cutting club to have a screen in the car... or do something very custom. I have a screen but it replaces the rearview mirror and I've seen a few that have them on a stand alone post style, either on the dash or on a mast type setup, and one person has it on a track and it comes out of the vents above the headunit. That install was very cool but very expensive.

Whatever way you cant just install a flip out screen HU as they do not fit.

That you can do, but you need to use smaller screens.
