I think that MOST people on this board are anti-rice. However, this site was designed for S2000 owners to interact and help one another. I for one, don't care either way if someone wants footwell lights, but saw someone asking if it's been done before. I remembered seeing a thread about this when searching for Bose sub installation advice, so I passed on the link. It's not for me to judge what someone else does with their car. Maybe everyone should just lighten up and let this go. . .

P.S. - everything I've seen from some established members like Mac and wortham has been positive and helpful to the community, so newer members might want to reserve judgement until after hanging around for a while.

hell! i just stick up for mac so maybe he'll take even more off my price for his footwell lights and maybe any future buys that i get. i really don't like him all that much. he goes on these really long rants about resistors, flux capacitors, or some other crazy electronic stuff i just don't get.

and, 44runner, i'll be the bigger man here and let you get the last word in. i have better things to do with my time than argue the finer points of courtesy with you.

and in keeping to the subject, this is the footwell lights that i'd strongly suggest. mac does top notch work, and you can't find anyone who stands behind their work any more than dan.

 

Guys, Guys.....whoa there, nellie! Happs22, that post is the one that made me think of this idea... and mac's posts all thru the forums are all great mods obviously based on his electronics know-how...I come from a PC repair background and thought this might be a low cost lighting mod for the footwells (and, yes, 44runner I AM losing things in the dark caves below sometimes!) I did try this idea and it does work...anyone that wants details, just ask. Thanx, though, for the quick replies and the links....happy vtecing, gotta go drive MORE!!!!

Well I think I've seen just about enough here, 44Runner you really need to chill out. You haven't been here that long so I'll cut you a little slack...a very little, but a little. Use the 'T' word 'Tact'! if you don't like something thats fine and dandy with me, you don't have to but you'll find that everyone here has different tastes, and yet we all get along just fine, because we all subscribe to the notion that its ok not to like everything everyone else does to 'THEIR OWN CAR'. Its there car if they like fine if you don't that ok to but you don't need to be a complete jerk about it.

Goes back to that saying if you have nothing good to say than just don't say anything
