Default Fuse Block under dash?

Has anyone wired a fuse block from the 12V (constant or switched) terminal under the dash? I've seen one or two terminal blocks down there that people have wired, but it seems silly and messier to go that route while still having to run in-line fuses. I was just curious since I'm planning for an auto-dimming + Homelink mirror installation and figured I might hardwire a dashcam too, and a fuse block would give me some expandability.

I have a homemade one under there and attached it to the exposed terminals. I printed a bracket for some female spade terminals to connect the fuses together. I think I did like 5 slots. I run a handful of electronics that required more lines, so I needed a distrubutor. Sometimes, I'm too lazy and just tap multiple projects into the same wires. 2nd most convenient mod I have done.

Hard-wired dashcam, auto-dimming mirror, custom DRLs, any other number of electronics projects that people normally tap into the cigarette lighter for.
