Just replaced my front speakers with infinity perfect's. I dont know why people say these have no bass, they sound great. Still on the stock headunit w/no amp.

Here are the pics of the stock speakers, to my suprise the cone was not paper, rather some type of plastic. I'll try to pop off the cover to the speakers on the roll bar to see what size they are; a lot of people seem to be curious.

I think most peope here know that if you have a 2002 and up the speakers are a ploy cone based mid. However... If they sounded so great to you, why did you replace them??
I completely agree with Dave... I think they suck... well I don't think they suck they do suck... compared to my Alpines anyway

I had those same ones in my '02':

100x's better than the 00/01 speakers. i'll have to take some pics of those and post them (one day).

basically, those were a 10W paper cone w/ a center 'whizzer'.

also worthy of note? those are virtually the same speakers that came out of my '02 Odyssey.

Hey, I have the perfects sitting in a box in my room. Waiting on the head unit. I'll be running them at 80watts rms. Any tips on installing them? Size of spacer? Anything to watch out for?

Cut out the stock baskets, and when you screw the speakers into the rings, put something flat over the cone...just in case you slip, you dont drill through the cone. Ask me how I know.
