God I hate car audio....
....when you cant figure out what the hell is wrong. Last night I was in my car, watchin a DVD, to make sure everything works, and it all worked well. (Car was parked in my driveway)
Today, I wake up, get into my car....and WTF, NO BASS!!!
I go to the trunk, amp is on, no wires fell off, no fuses blown. I touch the sub......you cant hear it, but you can feel it IS moving.....not making any audible sound, but it is on. If I hit the +18db on the amp, it gets a bit louder, but still only to the touch. I didnt change anything since last night.....WHAT the hell is wrong???
Throw me some ideas....

What does it ususually mean when the gains on an amp are all the way up,along with moderate volume, and the sub is only moving enough that you can feel it with your finger???
Well...the sub is a DVC, wired in stereo.
Can a sub with a blown coil still "play" ???how about amp?
Damn this sucks. I have a pair of old 6x9s that Ill hooke up and see if they hit, but how can I check the sub easily???

Well, I hooked up my 6x9s and they played fine on both channels....So I dont believe it is the amp. But its weird...the sub looks 100% fine.
Im just wondering if the sub is blown, why is it still playing (almost nothing, but playing)
