I'm looking for something that will give me the info I need all in one small unit, kinda like a vafc2 where you can switch between different digital gauges and see what goin on(I dont really need it for tuning), ... are there any others out there that do basicly the same thing?

It's not overly pretty, but you could check out the ScanGauge II.

http://www.scangauge.com/

Countless people have put them in their S's now and find them very functional. Many folks mounting below and in front of the radio door.

That's the general concensus! But apparently not what the OP is looking for since he seemed to take no notice of it It actually does all sort of data logging as well that can be downloaded to a computer, I believe.

Can also be transferred from vehicle to vehicle because it simply plugs in to the OBDII port and you're up and running. Reads and erases CELs, the list goes on and on...

I think I found the one I'm buyin
Greddy Intelligent Informeter

Designed with a compact plug and play color LCD display, the Informeter allows you to monitor, set warning points and datalog your vehicles performance though it's own On Board Diagnostic sensors. Select through important signals like Speed, Tach, Temps, Air Flow, Voltage, etc. (up to 25 channels depending on application), to monitor. The easy to use navigation menu allows you to select between various screens and displays: Digital, Analog or Bar Graph and 2ch, 3ch, or 6ch screens. You can also set warning points and pre-warning points, which will alert you with audible and visual highlights of important readings. Datalog up to 6 channels of data, and replay them. This is great for tuning. In addition to being functional the Informeter is also infinitely fashionable. Seamless changes in backlighting color, GReddy signature wall papers and colored backgrounds, along with a clear bezel to install colored face plates or even custom face plates, offer a endless options to match any vehicles interior. And to aid in mounting the unit can flip the display 180 degrees to free even more options. The GReddy Informeter is a key tool for all; beginners to pro tuners.
