I am a newbie to the GoPro. There are so many versions in the market. So which one is good enough for capturing cruising with sound without breaking my wallet?

Why GoPro? There are plenty of windsheid cameras useful for more than just capturing you at the wheel. Anti-theft and defense in an accident.
