i juss got component speakers (MOMO mmc6500)....i have 00 s2k no door tweeters, where is the best place to put tweeters and where do crossovers go?

Kinetic's has a nice front pillar mount!

I am thinking about getting a set, As I have an 01 without the tweeter spots too. Also, My leg/knee would probably cover them up.

my 00 has tweeters close to the stock location for later models.. near the top front corner of each door. looks very clean.

 

I had a set custom molded into the A-Pillars a few years ago. Bought a spare set of A-Pillar covers from HardTopGuy so that I could put it back to stock. Also didn't want to cut the door panels as they will be more expensive to replace.

The higher position on the A-Pillars raises the sound stage up to ear level, as opposed to down near your chest where it usually is. I have the tweeters pointed across the winshield to keep them from being too "bright".

They are also pretty stealthy and alot of people don't even notice them.

p.s. Oh yeah, the crossovers went in the kick panels by your feet.

 

i went to the Honda place and order the 06 grills for about $60 and mounted them in the stock 06 locations. looks stock. if you have the money, just buy the 06 door panals.
as for the crossover, i installed them in the little box on the back side of your door panal. you will see it when you take it off.
