Any others out there? I'd like to get a GPS but just don't know where it would go. At this point my favorite is probably just to join the dash cutting club, but it kind of worries me when I'm on a road trip and not parked in the garage.
I remember a member from Greece installed one in the change tray/ cupholder area of his AP1. Search for some pics.
I think Rick was also going to be making some trim panels that run across the top of the windshield that are molded to fit certain Garmin units. The stock sun visor (drivers side) is replaced with a Garmin unit.
I've been doing a lot of search and so far I will go for the Garmin NUVI 350 .The 360 it's nice only dif. is the bluetooth option ($100.00 more).
But don't know were to put the unit, the suction cup I don't like it that mutch.
At least with most Garmin units, a clip type dash mount is included. This clip comes with both semi-permanent or permanent double sided sticky tape. I used the semi-permanent one to locat the clip on my dash. I only put the GPS into the car when I do a road trip and I put it out of sight when I park.
i glad i got my garmin c320 ($300 from buydig in june 06). i hardwired it next to the A pillar. great place, also reminds me to hide it before i get out as its in view. fuse box is just below it too.
