Yes the Tarantula grill will work. The tarantula sub is as big as the alpha.

Well got the Tarantula Grille in.

Looks very nice, shiny as hell.

Now, to the problem, the circumference of the grille is about 5 mm larger then the sub itself, so basically it does not fit. I wish I could make it fit, but its just not going to. Really nice grille though.

Anyone interested in a Tarantula grille for a sound stream sub. PM if interested.

^ Can you screw it into the enclosure or mount it flush some other way?

I cant mount it to the enclosure the holes for the grille line up about 3 mm to the sides of the holes for the sub. So the screws would not get directly to the mdf, but would hit the sub metal surround first. Instead of messing with it and damaging anything, I am just going to get the Alphasonik grille and just sell the Tarantula grille here or on ebay.

Well for those of you that want to see the grille, here it is.

Its very very nice. too bad it does not fit my sub. Oh well if anyone is interested its for sale in the sales forum.

Squeezer, I was looking at your sub cover, is it cracked on the left side in the pic above? Looks like you have a crack on the left side.
