You have a separate ground for your head unit? I just connected it to the factory harness.

My ground has a preinstalled connector just like the OEM groundpoints do

what head unit did you buy? Did you buy the wiring harness for that head unit (to hook to factory harness)? I've never seen a unit that requires a separate ground.

So does anything connect into the pin on the factory harness that is the ground wire?

Mine had a separate grounding wire too. But I cut it off and just soldered it on to the wiring harness so it would be easier to remove

^^^ Thats what I would do, or if the slot on the harness you bought has an open pin on the slot that matches up with the ground on the factory harness, I would solder a pin on the end of the ground wire and insert it into the harness you bought (if that makes any sense to you)

It's likely an additional ground wire to ground the headunit's case.
You can just attach it to one of the screws that hold the headunit in,
it doesn't need to be the world's greatest ground.
