Default Grounding near fuse box?

Trying to wire my GPS and cannot, for the life of me, find what is supposedly an 'octopus' of black ground wires under a nut/bolt near the fuse box under the dash. What's worse, is that I fumbled around earlier this evening with a mirror and a flashlight, and briefly saw the thing, but now can't find it again. I cannot continue to stand on my head in that tiny space under the steering wheel that is only large enough for someone 1/4 my size... sigh...

Can someone direct me to it? Have been looking for over two hours...

Is this the only place to ground for the GPS near the fuse box, or is there an alternative under there somewhere?

It's an '09...

Thanks for any input...

Frustrated in Texas!!!

I have an 04 and it is exactly as shown in the picture. I would assume (big assumption) that it would be in the same location for all years.
if you are on your back looking up underneath the dash/steering wheel it is to to your right and hidden behind a series of wires. I had to use a small flashlight
to find it and even with that if I took my eyes off of it I would loose its location. it is not a comfortable position to be for more than a few minutes at a time.
good luck.

Ground is ground is ground.
Why does it have to be grounded at the box? Find the nearest metal with a bolt through it, clean it up & wrap the wire around it.

Eh ?

There should be ground busses on either side of your dash near the dash mounting points .
