Guys, I need some help
Hi guys, I got my Phd. in Stupity yesterday, now I need some help to recover. I got the new top strickers replaced. While doing that, and since I had all the plastic trim out, I said, what if I hardwire my radar detector....so I get the 2 feeding cables from the connector out the actual plastic connector, but I did not do it with enough caution to write down the order in which they need to be put back into the casing. Net net, I burned what appears to be 2 diodes that are part of the ceiling lamp assembly. Right now, I need help to know the order (wire color) of what wire color from the male connector, connects to what color in the female connector for the ceiling lights....I am frustrated and pissed....the freaking light assembly is 98 bucks..!!>>@@
Can anyone help??
Thanks.

Are you absolutely positive that YOU burned them? They come from the factory looking a bit burnt on the edges (due to their sloppy soldering techniques). Not to mention those are fairly beefy diodes, and simply connecting the wires backwards isn't enough to fry them... I believe they're rated at 50V, so a backwards connection will only put up to -15V on them.
