has anyone been able to get a hold of hardtopguy? i've been calling everyday for 2weeks now and no answer, left msg's, and e-mail. I need the conversion kit for the 2004 headlights, but no answer.....

any help is much appreciated.

how easy is the conversion anyways??? when using all the new hardware is it plug and play or what? and mounting the control unit, where did u guys mount it, pic's would help

 

I think its just replacing the old ballast with the new one. I am not sure what is involved, but I think you need to solder a resistor onto it somewhere (or maybe this is just for the AP2 taillight conversion).

I am also thinking it might just be swapping the old ballast out for the new one (you cant just swap the housings...you must also swap the ballasts as well), which is why its so expensive.
