Probably going to have to get a used one if it needs to meet your requirements. TSX ballasts are the same as AP2 ballasts but are probably going to cost the same.

Do you flash your headlights alot? thats really bad for HIDs. You have no guys in your area that sell generic HID kits? Search Craigslist. I have them in every vehicle I own that didnt come with HIDs like the S2000. My sentra has 55watt HID (35watt is normal) dammmm their bright. 40% brighter then 35watt. theve been in for about 2 years now, I drive the car 45,000 miles a year with the headlights always on for visibility purposes. and they are holding up great, even after I was backd into by a Jeep cheorkee. The lens of the headlight cracked and I drove with the bulb exposed to the environment for days lol. And my bike has one also. And its on and off constantly (stuntbike lots of parking lot riding) they usually run from $60 to $80

You have a nice car (I havent seen it, but it is a S2000.) Dont be cheap and ghetto rig some generic ballast into your car. This is how S2000 get turned into "Civics". If you can't afford new oem, buy used. If you cut into the wiring, you are just asking for problems down the road and you will be posting threads asking "Why do my lights go out and then come back on by themselves?" Here : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/S2000-balla...=item41526fad05 This one is only $55 and took me like 30 secs. to find.

They sell "generic" HID kits that replace stock ones. No wire cutting evolved. Just like all other plug and play HID systems it uses the stock wiring. And Ive had 55w HID in my sentra for years now and have never gotten pulled over for them. Consider it an upgrade. I will buy 55w ballast and bulbs from my HID guy around here on Long Island as soon as one of my stock ones blows out and Im sure Ill be happy with it. If you want PM me and ill give you his number and maybe he can ship you a set. They are APEXCONE HIDs. He has both regular size and slim ballast.
