Hey guys, new member here. Got my '01 S2k about 2 months ago. Obviously the goddamn stereo is the only thing I can say leaves me wanting more out of it. I was looking at options and I REALLY didn't want to modify anything on it but after reading on here, I realize the HU has to go. I wanted something somewhat discreet so I found this:

I like that it has an SD card (I was thinking of getting a 16gb and calling it a day as far as music/movies go)

I figured I'd check to see if any of you guys have experience with it, or if there is something similar or better that you would suggest (more expensive or cheaper, whatever, I don't care, just better)


And as far as speakers go, I was thinking of getting these:

I know that to put in 6.5's I have to modify it a bit or get the fittings from ebay...any further details would be great, though.


My plan was to get a new head unit and new speakers and feeling it out. If I feel like that's enough I'd stay there, if not I'd get an amp/sub combo after. I'm pretty new to fixing up the sound in a car so any input would be greatly appreciated.
