not snapping - but let's assume spyhunter followed your advise and simply yanked his door off as you advised - no doubt he would break his door off and scar up his console-

he'd then be looking at maybe an $100.00 expense for a replacement of a door / cover and maybe an extra 500 for a new console

there have been many requests in this section to only post factual information

 

I agree completely...I was wrong and should have checked the facts first. I was just going by personal experience. Thus why I said it worked on my MY00. I was putting it out there to be confirmed / disproved by someone with more experience (you). I never take any advice from anyone that is not reputable on this board (I am not yet). I have only taken advice from you, John, Phil, and Dave on install questions. Shifty also provided some wiring aid. I always check and double check anything I am doing to my car, no matter what the source.

I will continue to post as I have been, but will now say something along the lines that it should be confirmed first by someone who knows this stuff inside and out.

You know of anywhere I can get a MY04+ console (other than Honda)? They always screw people on the price of their parts. I am mainly looking for the stuff in your photo (upgraded cup holder and trims along with the leather surround).

I cant find the console on the site anywhere. At least not under "S2000" model. I will call them and ask.

I called them and was put on hold for 30 minutes and no one ended up picking me up...apparently there is 1 guy who takes care of the website, and they could not find him, and ended up hanging up on me.

I will call them a little later, or early in the week.

John, by any chance do you know their price on this? Rick's wants $125 just for the leather cover .
