Default HD camcorder recommendations?
Hey guys, i hope this is the correct forum. I need an hd camcorder in the $500-$1k price range. I had my eye on the HV20, which is now discontinued.

I have the Canon Vixia HF10 and really like it. See www.camcorderinfo.com for great reviews. BTW the Canon's rule that site's scoring board.

I got my dad the Panasonic SD9 ... he loves it ... and now that it works properly w/ a iMovie, it's super easy to use too.

Just remember, Panasonic is the only brand that outputs 1080P currently All other brands state 1080, but its interlaced.

LOL yeah last review I read (been a while) said the Cannon HV20 was the best.
