I use an Alpine CDE-143BT, it fits fine, but it's a couple of years old already and there are probably newer stuff out there.

You can go to Crutchfields and enter your car in the search box. It will show only the models that fit the S. I used it for mine, a Sony. Works great.
BTW, when you do get a HU, use Modfrys DCI and wiring harness to make it so easy and foolproof.

I have a Pioneer DEH-S6010BS that fits just fine, also have a micro 64 GB USB thumb drive that will also let the door shut when it's plugin. I went with the Metra steering wheel controls since it was only an additional $21.94 from Crutchfield.

I bought this unit from Crutchfield - Kenwood Excelon KDC-X302. Added the Modifry Radio Bracket Combo to hold my phone. With the front USB port it only takes a small cord to charge the phone from the stereo. Obviously you can’t close the radio door while charging but you can with the stereo in.

I've gone through a few Kenwood head units over the years (KDC-X889, KDC-X991, KDC-BT555U, KIV-701, XXV-01D) that had no problems with the radio door, and I'd assume they fit unless there's a glaring reason that they wouldn't. Obviously with something plugged into a front USB port things are different.

So I just moved this unit to my CR and I added the Alpine KTP-445A amp, installed with my Modifry DCI as well. The amp adds a lot of wires so it was really tough to squeeze everything in, but it's do able.
