the black plastic inside of the ap1 headlights, ive seen some people with them painted, are they using the regular factory paint or are they using some kind of special paint. im worried about the hid maybe getting hot and melting the paint off it or something? i was thinking about painting them berlina black to better match my car, anyone have a picture of berlina black headlights btw? ive seen a white painted headlight. my main question is is it stock or special paint.. wats any negatives to it

 

My body shop painted the housings Silverstone with the same paint and clear coat they used on my car. I have had no problems with the paint melting/buring.
