^+1. they put out sound, but at the sound level of a tweeter. they really don't add much at all.

S-pods are like $150-200ish, and are a TON better, and even look better, IMO.

Search this forum for "S-pod" to see what they are.

Lucid rears are great too and they are under a 100. then buy whatever speaker you want to put in them.

Related question-

Do the 04+ S2000s have pre-run wires for the headrest speaker option. I know the stock HU can fade the sound to the rear (even though you get no sound because there are no rear speakers).

I installed the US-SPEC IPOD and it was so easy because the car had the wire harnes in the trunk. I routed the IPOD wire into the "hidden" console. I was so happy about how easy it was. My dash radio contollers work with it to.

Maybe Honda made adding the headrest speaker option just as easy???

The '04 & '05 models have 4 wires available at the back of the HU for rear speakers. I'd give you the codes, but I'm using a borrowed PC.
