What is the roll bar speakers system and where do I get them

Has information on the new rollbar speakers from the '06's been added? I've been curious if those housings could be retrofitted myself. I'm not overly found of the S-Pods (they're nice, but I like the hoop look of the stock bars).

 

I don't think that's what he was looking for... but if that's was he's looking for then that thread won't help, as I don't think they were listed yet... I'll be going to the dealer this weekend I hope to check them out and see how they sound.

 

Sounds good. I'd be interested in just the housings. I'd imagine they'd sound much better with a good set of speakers in them, as compaired to the stockers.

My Miata has headrest speakers in it, they were blown and unplugged when I got the car. As it's just a commuter car I put some $10 flea market specials in there. Damn did it make a difference. So I'd bet that, with a good set (amplified of course) they'd sound damn good back there in the S.
