i emailed nicknamsweet a picture of my the 305 installed. i will try and post pics up in a bit.

i had my iphone 3g installed and while it worked it still had problems, but this wil be fixed come summer time and the 3.0 update for the iphone.

the problems i am speaking of while using my iphone were upon start up sometimes the HU would not read the phone and i would have to unplug and plug it back in some times several times..

since then i have switched to a ipod 5thgen and havent had any isssues the ipod stays plugged in 24-7 unless i want to add more songs to it.

Sweet... I'll also be listening to some Bone Thugs music, especially The Art of War album.

Oh and I've experienced the issue with the deck/phone not playing music when I plugged my phone in at BestBuy... do you know if you have a 2009 version of the headunit, I would imagine they sorted through the issues... if not, I hope the 3.0 software will take care of it.

i should since it is brand new....

and the 3.0 update should fix this problem.... if you look at the box it states made for ipod works with iphone...

the 3.0 software for the iphone fixes the difference between the ipod/iphone so the text that says "this accessory was not made for the iphone" will no longer happen so i would assume the iphone will working the same as the ipod after the update...

If you use the modifry DCI you can use the stock controls...

but like i said apparently if you use the dimmer function on the HU it messes things up

The cable is more than long enough to reach.

That's awesome then

Now i just need to have a quick look at funds... it's always my luck that i finally decide on something and it's a wednesday... as the posting ALWAYS buggers up and it misses the friday delivery and comes on the monday

I shouldn't really be spending any money on it as have some fees for parents to pay, but my current headunit sucks and i can't help but modify the car... it's an addiction!
