Default Headunit question

I was wondering if most headunits have an auxillary cable in the rear. I am looking to run an ipod connection cable from the back of the headunit to the glovebox or center counsel. I am worried about the connections not running wires. I am not really a big electronics guy so I was hoping you guys could help me out a bit.
Thanks!

A lot of them do, but it's completely model-specific.

There's no rule. If you're wondering about your head unit then check its specs. For mine, I'd have to purchase an AI Net-Aux adapter for aux inputs. No telling what yours is like, especially if you don't provide the make & model.

Also, if you're running an aux cable you'll need the iPod in a location where you can control it (i.e. not in the glove box). If you want the head unit to control the iPod then your head unit needs to support this and an aux cable won't work. You need an actual iPod interface.

Most are rear. You can almost assume it's rear unless you see or read otherwise from the manufacturer's website.

Hey, also check out this site
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/
Ive bought alot of car audio stuff from them and they have good prices. I didnt see that specific radio your looking at, but they still have lots of em. For a few bucks more, you can get a USB hookup and aux input, so you can control your ipod with your radio while charging it

This one has the USB and AUX inputs in the front, not the rear
