Default Headunit suggestion

I know this is ICE, but not enough traffic.

Any suggestions for a good HU that sounds good but doesnt cost a lot?

thanks

Anything from the big companies should be fine. Avoid the stuff under $150 unless you want bare-bones. For $200-$250 you can get a decent Pioneer or Alpine with iPod connectivity.

Be sure to get the Modifry DCI so the radio controls to the side of the steering wheel still work.

I would steer clear of Alpine, stick to Pioneer or Eclipse. Pioneer has a warmer sound, and Eclipse is more neutral. Alpine is known to have a harshness that can't be tuned out (and I used to be an Alpine fan until I put in an Eclipse HU)
