Default Heated seats

I was surfing around and came across a company that sells heat pads for seats. Has anyone installed these on S2000 seats. Something I might be interested in doing before next winter. http://www.checkcorp.com/seat_heater/products.asp

I thought about that as well. I was close to doing it in my last S when I recovered the seats, but never went through. It should be fairly easy to install. I think leatherseats.com and/or katzkin.com sells them as well.

I have them and them! I had my seats 2 toned and put in the seat heaters at the same time...best "convenience" mod bar none (IMO)

They have a 3 way hi/lo switch and heat almost instantly...it really has extended my top down season

Nice Dave I guess you just have more HOT AIR and more padding in your car .... but it does allow for top down driving in extreme weather..people think I'm nuts...but I am always warm and cozy

The heaters should run you around $300 installed ....it certainly isnt easy. The complete skin of the seat needs to be removed, then reinstalled with a special tool, there are issues with the passenger seat and air bag sensor. I personally would leave to to someone very familiar with leather work.

Here are some pics of the seats after the 2 tone job...I have since moved the seat heater buttons to a better, more stealth location and recovered the pad between the seats

and i've run w/ the top down for extended periods of time in sub 40*F weather... people think i'm nuts, but w/ a nice pullover from Old Navy and a cap, the heater does it fine for me.

of course, down here sub 40*F is like... INSANE cold.

umm... there is no airbag sensor in the passenger seat. in my 01, the passenger seat pulls out w/ nary an electrical connection.

the wife's Ody on the other had has a large yellow loomed bundle that has to be disconnected that is related to an airbag sensor.
