hey hey, your car is upholstered almost exactly how I want to do mine. how much was the installation for the seat warmers (and also round abouts for the recovering if you dont mind)
The whole thing heaters, door and seat leather work was under $600

and i've run w/ the top down for extended periods of time in sub 40*F weather... people think i'm nuts, but w/ a nice pullover from Old Navy and a cap, the heater does it fine for me.

of course, down here sub 40*F is like... INSANE cold.

umm... there is no airbag sensor in the passenger seat. in my 01, the passenger seat pulls out w/ nary an electrical connection.

the wife's Ody on the other had has a large yellow loomed bundle that has to be disconnected that is related to an airbag sensor.

well, the easy way to tell is this...

look under your seat. if there are no wires, there's no sensor.

I was looking at getting them too. I was going to have the shop handle the heating element, then I was going to wire it all myself. I couldn't find a price in your link, but I have seen it for about $99/seat. (Without install.)

I have a stealth idea for mounting the switches too.

Hey -

Gotta go with mikes2k on this - they're one of the best mods I've done to date - definitely able to put the top down more often on cool evenings! (Especially if your in my situation - My g/f raises issue with the top being down far less often then before they were installed) Yes, the s2k heater is great, but something about having your bum toasty is, well, just great...

Here's some pics of my setup. Mike, can I see a close-up of your switches?

Here's a pic of my switches. Sorry for the crappy cell phone camera pic, the switches pretty much looks OEM in person.
