it helps if you pick up a panel removal tool, any autoparts place will have one for a couple bucks.
Remove two plugs on the interior door handle, then remove two larger philips screws that are in the handle. Remove a smaller philips screw that is behind the door opener. Remove the panel behind the door opener by turning it 90 degrees and slipping it over the handle outwards.
Pop off the black push pin near the backside of the upper mirror area with the removal tool. Then get a flashlight and pry out the edge of the door panel and look for the attachment points that have white pushpins, use the removal tool at those attachment points to pop off the panel. You have to do this on the underside of the door to see the pushpins, then work your away around the two sides. If you just pull on the door panel there will be one pushpin holder that will break on you (ask me how I know ). If you break a pushpin holder just glue it back on with the strongest plastic glue you can find, I used a Loctite 2 part glue kit made for plastics.
To get into the door area you have to pull off the plastic covering and possibly the lower speaker depending on where you want to look. When I just changed my stereo speakers I found one plastic white guide like part sittting at the bottom of each door. I couldn't find where the part belonged or how to reinstall it so I just removed it. That might be the source of your rattle, hard to say though until you expose things. Reinstall in reverse, if the plastic sheet doesn't stick very well on reinstallation use some exterior silicon sealant/caulking to seal the edges of the plastic.
