Help with car Audio!
hey guys well im figuring its about time to upgrade my sound system. anyway what im figuring so far is this. i want to get s-pods but i would like to go type-r's all the way around (in the door and s-pods) but is this possible? also i want to get the JL stealth box. just wondering if this is a good idea or if i should consider an alternative. anyway im just trying to figure out what will fit where.
it kinda threw me off when the guy at bestbuy said the type-r's wouldent fit in my car... is there any way around this? spacers? something?!

The Type-r's will fit, you just need to know how... in other words, its pretty clear that the guys at your BB shouldn't be touching your car. You need to either cut the back of the stock speaker basket out so its just a mounting ring, or you can make a new mounting ring(spacer, or baffle) out of MDF. You'll need to 5 1/4 Type-r's for the SPods.
As for a sub box. I have a group buy going for sub boxes, subs and amps right now. You can cleck the link in my sig for the link to that thread.
