Default Help A Fellow S2K Owner Out

Hey Guys,

Very new here, mostly been lurking. Great site with a lot of fantastic info.

I just purchased an 04 S2K imported from the US (I'm Canadian). Anyway, I was doing some maintenance and electrical work the other day and unplugged my battery... of course now I need the security code and the original dealer (not a Honda dealer) doesn't have the code, nor do I have the card with the code.

I phoned a couple local Honda dealers and they were less than cooperative with me as it is an American serial number. I cannot use this serial number at any Canadian dealer to get the security code.

Can someone PLEASE provide me with the security code for the following serial number? If so it is MUCH APPRECIATED!!

American Radio Serial Number: CLJCGA440006531

Again, THANK YOU to anyone that can provide me with this info.

~Cam

Oh come on.... who steals a factory Honda deck?

It's unfortunate that I'm a new member as I would get accusations as such... However I'm very well known and a respectable seller on other boards (Revscene and Clubintegra: Username FrostedLS) .. Ebay as well: Feedback http://myworld.ebay.com/newview_studios/ )

I'm willing to take a photo of it IN my S2000 with the serial number showing if someone actually has access to this info... I will go through the effort if someone is willing to help me out

First off, are you sure its not written down anywhere on the vehicle? I know some came with the code on a little sticker on the inside of the vertical flap of the glove box (mine did). Check there first, and have you removed it to see if it is written on the top of the unit (some second hand units will have this done).

I have checked under the trunk lid, within the secret compartment, within the glove box, all through the owners manual, even the quick start guide... It is no where to be found

The only way I could have gotten the serial number in the first place is if I looked on the top of the head unit... and there is no security code there either

I have done my searches regarding this manner and even contacted dealers but all US dealers require that you bring the car in... for the same reason you had...

I live in Canada... I bought an American car

Only American dealers can provide me with the security code

Hence my dilemma

I've checked EVERYWHERE... in the cupholder compartment, in the door jams, even under the hood, around the fuses, in the trunk
