Help with footwell fuse box removal
I have a 2004 RHD AP1 which has had a blown Backup fuse for years. Couldnt get any local garage or autoelectric to take it on. The car drives fine but resets the ECU every trip. I decided I would attempt to learn via the school of youtube and DIY it. I found an Electrical Trouble Shooting guide which has loads of helpful circuit layouts, pics of components, connectors and pin out diags. I have tested ECU, radio, and then roof motor circuits as identified hanging off the fuse. The last one has the short circuit. Problem is this feeds off a splice from the wire between the fuse and the connector that feeds ECU, radio and other stuff. So i need to get behind the footwell fusebox. I am 66 and shortsighted so tricky to fold myself into the footwell and see what I'm doing. Ive used the phone to film it but can't see the screws? holding it in place clearly enough (they don't seem to be crosshead). Any help on how to get to the said wiring will be much appreciated

I don't know how its secured off the top of my head but have you looked at used fuse box/harnesses on eBay? Those might clue you in on how its fixed to the chassis.
