Look two posts above yours. Are you saying this info is incorrect or not clear?

DrCloud is correct, his problem was that he did not have the male connector so he did his own rig to connect the wires. What I simply did was use an OEM 4-pin male socket from my accord and just but the wires together.

I went and cut off a 4-pin male connector from the tail light of my 93 Accord
I didnt think you could use that wire.....I thought all real electrical wiring is solid-strand wires, not twisted like speaker wires.

I would make sure the "extra" wire you are salvaging is the correct type of wire.

Just about anything 12v, especially stereo applications, should use stranded wire. Solid core wire is usually for 110v.

The car in the sig came from another member called i_heart_my_DB8. He created one in each color and gave them out to first come, first served. He asked that no one copy them as they are his intellectual property -- I think he is a graphic designer. You can ask him if you want. Some folks have copied them and I have seen them used around the board but like I said, he asked that people not do that.

Oh, and I agree, all automotive wiring I have ever seen is stranded.

you can get just the factory headrest speaker harness by itself (H and A installation instructions for the factory instructions show how it's connected)---that way you can get the radio end connection--it has two wires for each side to run the two speakers in each headrest but caould be easily apapted for the Spods--it's only about $11 from Hardtopguy. I ordered one myself yesterday

Jeff doesn't even have a pic of the harness.

Anyway, what are you connecting, the speakers from the Spods to the stock HU?
