Default help! NO Power going to deck!

hi there, i am new to this forum and do not know anything about electronics.

When i purchased the car, it came with a kenwood excelon amp and speakers run by the stock deck.

i purchased a excelon deck and my friend had an extra rf amp left over and sub so we decided to hook it up to my car.

It turned on for a minute of so and shut off and when we checked the wires, no power was going through the white/red wire (accesory power)

so now i'm wondering what can be the problem
could it be a blown fuse? can anybody tell me which fuse it is? i can't seem to find it online and i don't have a manual when i bought the car, help much appreciated

additional info:

oh yah, my friend also helped me hook up the remote (blue) wires from the amps to the accesory power, i have no idea why

could that be the cause of my whole thing shutting down?

plz help!! thx

In the fuse block there should be 2 fuses to check..
Stereo

Accessories

sounds like the accessory fuse again.

we've been having a running special on those lately.

WAIT!?

you're running power for the RF amp to the accessory line!?

that needs a separate run to the battery.

sorri perhaps i wasn't making myself clear

the power from BOTH amps are to the battery, but for the remote wires for both

i tapped it onto the accesory power going to the deck.

now, for some reason, the two re mote wires and the red wire from the deck is blowing my 10 amp stereo fuse, i have no idea why

but when i take off only the rockford amp remote, and only run the remote from the kenwood amp and the red wire from the deck the fuse is fine

so now i'm stuck with no where to wire the rockford, because it keeps burning my fuses, perhaps i should raise the 10 amp to a 15 amp fuse? lemme know if that would work

again sorry for my ignorance

hrm.... amp turn on lead's will generally draw on the order of .1 amps or less (if i recall correctly) generally speaking though... even if it's 1 amp (it isn't), you shouldn't be blowing the fuse.

something isn't right. go back and double check all your connections.

this fuse is blowing for a reason... you shouldn't have a 10 amp draw on that fuse unless there's something else in that circuit you've not mentioned. don't upsize the fuse as of this point.
