Help with the OEM Stereo
I need to get the damn serial number(s) off the stock stereo. Unfortunately I have no experience in taking off dash covers, installing stereos, etc. can someone tell me how to do it if it's simple enough? I need to take the stock stereo out and view the numbers on it and then put it right back in. That's it. Thanks for your help.

[*]Put masking tape or a towel around the shifter to prevent scratching the metal trim.
[*]Open the cover.
[*]Gently pull, one side at a time.
[*]If it doesn't want to give, take a slotted screw driver (protected with elec tape to prevent scratching) just between the trim and the dash on the top side. Pry gently.
[*]4 philips screws and that's it.[/list=1]
