My pioneer monitor (w6210) has a hideaway "brain" that I had in my trunk. A while back I got a lot of water in my trunk and I think I burned out the unit. If I can find a replacement brain, should the monitor still work? Anyone know where another could be purchased, or if another model screen uses the same unit?

 

If you call pioneer they can tell you where to buy replacement parts.

 

Unfortunately they weren't helpful.

They told me that they don't sell a complete unit, just individual parts. They quoted me something like $500 for all the pieces. That's what I paid for the whole unit in '03
