the Alpine CDA-9851 or the Kenwood KDC-MP628
I dont know alot about head units so i need ur guys help! what one is better all around? The kenwood looks to be easier to use but i havent messed around with the Alpine much to compare.

My Pioneers have always been easier to use than my Alpines..

My Alpines have always sounded better than my Pioneers

Cant speak for Kenwood, but Alpine is right near the top in terms of audio quality.
But your right, Alpine tends to be a little TOO innovative with their controls.

In that case either one will work, I would get the Alpine but I'm bias 99% of my system is Alpine.

I like Alpine myself as well. Easy to use, reliable as a woodburning stove, and looks nice.

My past two decks were Kenwood then Alpine - both worked great, but my latest Kenwood faceplate when out after 2 yrs - something I'd never seen in a HU before. It would have cost me $200 for a repair and I ended up having to get a new HU, so I prefer Alpine now.
