On my 04 the passenger

 

I've heard someone say that if the fuse blows the hid won't be %100 dead, but instead it will flicker and act funny. I wouldn't put it above a dealership to forget a basic check like fuses so I guess I'd try checking all your fuses.

 

Thanks i'll have a look at the fuses tonight

strange thing is that if i turn them on & off like ten times it works

 

The fuses in the under-hood fuse/relay box are #43 and #45, they are 20A fuses.
