HID QUESTION
I looked around but couldnt find an answer to my question. anyways, I was wondering for my 2002 I like to purchase a HID kit 6000K do I have D2s bulb sizes ? and if anybody has Ebay HID kit how is the fitment any issues at all ? Ive used Ebay KITS before and 0 issues but I was wondering if they work ok with our cars ( or we can keep the stock ballasts and just hoook them up to the new bulbs ? ) thanks
6000 is not brighter. the brightest is stock, which is 4300k
If you want bright, you want a lower kelvin rating. the higher you go, the less usable light you have (lumens)
To the original poster, all you need to do is change the bulbs. If you can, try to stick with Philips or Osram. I wouldn't trust 3rd party bulbs

i have 6k bulbs...they have a blue-ish hue to them
agreed on using D2S bulbs and +1 for Philips bulbs
you can also use this site too (this is where i got my 6k bulbs from)

it's a simple DIY actually
You need a special T25 torx bit to install the bulb, too (in order to open up the ballast)
from there it's just a simple bulb swap
