honestly? i don't have a real idea, but it was just too easy to pass up.

i do know that blue HID bulbs exist, but i don't know if they work w/ the S2000 HID or that they are even as bright as the OEM. (honestly, the S2000 has one of the best HID setups i've ever seen... i'd be hesitant to touch it.)

also, around here the 'blue' HID look is usually viewed as a poser/wannabe look for people who use cheap aftermarket HID's on non-HID cars. *shrug* not trying to insult, but imo, i wouldn't go there.

Yes, that blue light you see, is a "gimmick" headlight. I used to have them in my crx, they burn out very fast, and to the best of my knowledge, they are only for normal headlight replacement. And why would you want that? The s2k headlights are SSSEEEXXXYYY

Yeah the HID bulbs you want have a higher K value. I'll check for you. I don't remember off hand.

Also remember that you'll be losing output too. It may look like it's brighter, but in reality, output is reduced up to 2x (if you go too high of K).

The stock bulbs are 4100k or 4300k. I can't remember, but they are D2S based where as aftermarket bulbs are not. D2S are the only bulbs to work with OEM projectors. Anything else you'll need to rebase.

Not to mention, having it too blue will attract the cops. It's illegal to modify your headlight system. Stick with OEM. The s2000 is the best setup I've seen, well second to the Lexus LS430 (think s2k, but with wider beam). As far as output, stock spec is the best.

Wait a minute, does your s2k have projectors too? I dont remember if the earlier s2ks have them or not.
