Default Homelink install in visor.........

I am putting a Homelink unit into my visor...........I have searched the threads......but still have a question..............this unit came out of a Chrysler visor and has two leads, an orange one and a white one.........on a three contact connector...........with the white wire on the connector closest to the edge of the unit............and the orange wire on the connector position closest to the center of the unit..............which of these two is power and which is ground?

any help would be much appreciated................

If you call the Chrysler Dealer they can look it up in the service manuel for you and tell you what wires do what.

Just as a reference for those searching in the future.................turns out that the contact closest to the outside of the unit is the power connnection, and the contact closer to the center of the unit is the ground connection.

Thanks to all who spent time trying to figure this out for me..............

I'm thinking about $200 for the pair of visors with the Homelink
installed on one of them. They will both be covered in black
leather looking vinyl so they match. (Vinyl as opposed to leather
because I was told that leather may not hold up to the sunlight)
And, yes the power is taken from the dome light.

What do you guys think?
