has anyone installed the cd changer somewhere that it doesn't take your trunk place?

Some folks have put changers in the secret compartment. Some have put one under the seat. I'm not sure the Honda one will fit in those places, though. I have a Sony 10 disc in the trunk.

I have the sony 10 disc in the trunk, but with no loss of trunk space. Took the toolset, wrapped the tools in a canvas tool thing and put it in with the spare. Then cut away most of the styrofoam that held the tools in place and dropped the Sony CD player right in. Made it a press fit to keep vibration down and it works a champ. Then just dropped the cover back over the well.

I had one in the panel to the left of the spare tire area, but the skipping was bad since it sits over the rear axle. I replaced that panel with a new one and put the cd changer under the seat, I have a 8 disk Eclipse now, but the alpine that Honda uses fit there no problem before. Additionally, I had to move mounting brackets from the floor to the underside of the seat to keep the full movement of the seat.
