Default Honda S-Pod's

Just wondering if anyone has the oem S-Pod's?? Just wondering how well they work. I've been getting so confused with the S-Pod's that Mark makes. Can't find any info on the Honda ones. I'm just wondering if they are any good and what kind/size of speakers come in them and if they are upgradeable. Thanks

They are not called s-pods, they are called headrest speakers.

ASU_Lee here in Arizona has them on his 2004. They cost a bloody fortune for the quality.

I'm still looking for one un-happy owner of the Honda headrest speakers to trade for a set of S-Pods. I'll include a set of reasonably priced/quality component speakers in the deal.

I will. The hearrest speakers that Honda offers are complete junk, and for the money, they are just pure sh!t. THey are nothing more than tweeters, for 400 bucks.

Get the SPODS. Much better!

I agree with everyone else, they are pathetic, especially for what you spend on them. I considered buying them and replacing the drivers with some quality speakers, however, I could not justify the cost of purchase and upgrade. The S-Pods seem like a good alternative, however, I have not heard them.

.02 cents....

Get the S-PODS. You won't regret it. Even at highway speeds, I can hear the music crystal clear, and the fitment is bar-none.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm going to have to do a little more research on this. I just kinda like the way the Honda Headrest speakers look compared to the S-Pod's. No offense, just like having the hoops open in the back. We'll see, i've got the whole winter coming to decide and design a stereo setup. Thanks
