Don't know if this helps any but there is a company in UK that makes made to order speaker enclosures for cars, usualy to fit big speakers in small spaces, they use a lot of formed plastic and the result looks good, I have been in contact with them and they think they can make a good looking speaker pod to fit into the headrest, the company name is Audioscape www.audioscape.co.uk/. It might be worth talking to them if enough people are interested and can agree on a design.

I have already applied for protection on the: Design, function, appearance, name, basicaly everything associated with the S-Pods. If you are serious about producing a product resembling them; you would be wise to contact me first. I foreward all discussions of this nature to my patent atty.

Yeah, but don't take my word for it. You can ask one of my customers: Blair Morrow. He swapped rear panel speakers for S-Pods.

Oh My God! The S-Pods sound great. I have heard the 04 headrest speakers and I have the S-pods with just Alpine co-axils, I bought the speakers before I knew I could put separates in the S-pods, the S-pods sound so much better. You can have midrange and mid-bass.

I agree with Marks! They look great and sound great!
