Default Honda security system

I wanted a viper with pager but i noticed the honda security system is ridiculously cheap

Are there any features of it that specifically protect the convertible top? It mentions how it's for convertibles but if it's just like any old alarm system, i think i'd rather have the pager

Oem alarms do not have shock sensors and the 2 way feature plus better remote range. You can add prox into an aftermarket system.

I just purchased the Viper 5901 from Ebay...with the current 30% off using ms live cash back, it came to be around $200 dollars...great deal since it retails for 649.99

Now I am just searching for a good shop or person to install it around the northern VA area. Let me know if you know of any.

RangOs2000...can you hook me up w/ the info for your shop. Is it in Northern VA, MD or DC area? Got a website and/or contact information? What was the cost? The cheapest I got was 250 w/o bypass module, 300 with it.

Thanks!
