Does anyone have any new information on the Honda under-seat sub-woofer? When is it going to be available?

I just asked my dealer about it yesterday when I was there picking up my car and he told me Honda said it would be mid-year before we see them. As per usual, who knows if he has a clue what he is talking about.

 

Clarion has one that's a slip fit...available now

 

Well according to a Honda Assesory brochure I just picked up,"Available Early 2001".

 

where does the clarion mount? does it really fit under the seat?

 

I just asked about Honda's sub today. The guy called and talked to someone?? Anyway they said they were trying to figure out where to mount it, apparently it doesn

 

Guys don't spend your mind on those under seat subs. I've been in serious contact with JL Audio and two other board members and i've got great news for everyone. We managed to convince JL Audio to develop a stealth sub system for the S2Ks. Not sure when it will be done by, but i can guarantee it will be well worth the wait.

 

The under-seat sub is scheduled to ship from Honda in "late April"

 

How can it be an under the seat sub and not fit under the seat?????
