how do i remove the little rubber piece around the

Default how do i remove the little rubber piece around the

i removed my radior door, but it seems impossible to put back with the rubber piece on the way. do i just pull or do i need to remove the entire shfit boot (meaning the thing between the driver/passenger)?

You don't need to remove the shift boot. You just need to pull up the center console trim (I think there are 6 tabs) shift the car in to 4th, and you can move the trim back towards the secret compartment with the shift boot still on. This will get you enough clearance to get the radio door back on.

i'm sure you dont have to, but i want to. i tried to put it back without doing so, but i found it very difficult. i need to remove the entire center consol anyway to install my ipod adapter.
