I have the JVC NX-KD5000 GPS radio and I can't quite get it to fit to the point where I can close the radio cover door. Does anybody know how to remove the credit card holder? I believe if I can remove that I'll be able to close the door.

I was advised to use a flat head screw driver but I didn't have any luck with that....if that is the only way to do it, is there a certain place I should try prying it from?

I don't think you can just pry it off, I think you would have to cut it out.

 

Its all one piece of plastic.

 

either have to trim the plastic to fit it or get a different head unit

 

Break out the saw preilly! haha..

 

 

You need your friend the Dremel and a cut off wheel and once your done with that part you'll need a sanding drum to smooth it all out.

 

Saws are more fun...but a dremel would probably get the job done too...
