how do you test the alarm?
ouch... that's gotta hurt if u need to replace them. u can probably buy a 2nd s2000 for replacing just those 2 items alone.
off topic for this... i was going to start a new topic for head units that will be able to control the oem cd changer. i did some searches but found most wanting new cd changers to work with stock head unit. just wondering if you know any off the back. otherwise, i'll start a new topic.

you might want to look into WLaurent's alarm. for $175, it reuses the factory remotes, adds full alarm flexibility, shock sensors, microwave perimeter intrusion, and is fairly easy to install for anyone handy w/ a soldering iron. i think there are something like 9 wires you splice in, and William has them all nicely located and labeled....
